Would make a great gift! This little mouse that is busy writing a letter to Santa.  What a Cutie!  The mouse is made from muslin that is painted brown, sanded, and aged with coffee.  He has a burgundy striped homespun scarf, bead eyes, has rusty cement nails for feet, and is holding a "pencil" that is made out of a twig.  The mouse is 6" tall (not including the pencil).  The letter is 10 x 8 1/2".  It is paper that has been stained & adhered to a piece of muslin that is also stained.  The letter says: 

 "December 21, 1897"

"Dear Santa, I love you.  I have been very good.  I have many sisters and brothers.  What I would like for Christmas is cheese for my family.  Love mousie."
