This sunflower is made from muslin that has been painted with mustard paint and aged with shoe polish.  The flower center is brown canvas fabric.  It is in a wood pedestal that has been covered with ripped green and tan homespun strips that have also been aged with shoe polish.  The duck sleeping on the top of the flower is also made from muslin that is painted cream and also aged.   The duck is 6" long and the flower is about 9" tall, not including the few petal that are sticking up.
